For molding sand, precision casting, especially auto parts, large casting, it is recommended to use Ceramsite sand as much as possible.
Baozhu sand is used because it has a good spherical shape. Compared with the use of chromite sand, zircon sand and quartz sand (silica sand), it can greatly reduce the amount of chemical binders such as sodium silicate, phenolic resin and furan resin. The sand recovery rate can reach more than 95% (the average recovery rate of traditional quartz sand is only about 75%). The use of such casting sand can not only meet the current environmental protection requirements, but also achieve the purpose of energy saving.
